The Pierre City Commission has approved a series of requests related to the annual Oahe Days Music and Arts Festival.
The requests ranged from approval for the beer garden to have a temporary on site liquor license to allowing the use of Island View Drive for the “Buckin’ on the River” event to allowing the use of some city property such as picnic tables and barriers for street closures.
Oahe Days committee chairwoman Nicole Gordon says people will see old favorites as well as new things to do.
Gordon says because the weather has been nice the past two years, they some extra funds in their account to use to hire musical talent.
Gordon says there will be 56 vendors at this year’s Oahe Days Music and Arts Festival which will be held June 21-23 in Pierre.
