Plankinton Wins at Miller

MILLER, S.D. – The Miller Outlaws committed 7 errors as Plankinton downed Miller 11-5 in Pony Hills League Amateur Baseball Sunday in Miller. Plankinton built a 11-2 lead on the strength of an 11 hit attack led by Deion Waddle who had 3 hits and an RBI. Miller scored 3 runs in the ninth inning. Josh Engquist went the distance the distance allowing 5 hits and striking out 14. Cody Cotton took the loss for the Outlaws going 7 innings and allowing 6 unearned runs. He struck out 7. Miller falls to 3-3 on the season and is 2-3 in Pony Hills League play with the loss. The two teams play again on Thursday in Plankinton.
