PIERRE, S.D. – Another weekend of racing wrapped up yesterday at Oahe Speedway north of Pierre. The winner of the main race of the day, the Stock/SuperStock Shootout was Bob Tilton of Mitchell. Tilton edged out Patrick Zoss of Emery in the finals. The 4th Pepsi Shootout Series races were run as well. Winners included Dan Mohr of Mitchell in the Super Pro and Josh Kockmish of Yankton in the Pro Series Race. Alex Larson of Huron won the Bike/Sled Division and Duane Sopher of Gettysburg captured the Street Trophy Race. Hayley DePoy of Lantry was the winner in the Snap On High School Division and Dragr Monson of Groton won the Junior Major division while the Junior Minor division winner was Tommy Sticklemeyer of Aberdeen who was a two time winner over the weekend. Winners on Saturday included Chad Clement of Tabor winning the Box/No Box Shootout while Dusty Kracht of Pierre won Saturdays Bike/Sled Shootout and Jon Dallman of Aberdeen captured the Trophy Shootout. Finally Tommy Sticklemeyer of Aberdeen won the Junior Shootout Race. The next races at Oahe Speedway will be in two weekend, July 7th and 8th. Oahe Speedway is located 14 miles north of Pierre along Highway 1804.
