MITCHELL, S.D. – The Pony Hills Amateur Baseball League will once again send 4 teams to the South Dakota Class B State Amateur Baseball tournament later this summer in Sioux Falls. Allocations were recently set by the South Dakota Amateur Baseball Association (SDABA) for the number of state tournament bids to each of the seven Class B districts. The number of tournament bids each year are based on the number of teams in each district. The State Line League in the Southeast part of South Dakota and the Cornbelt League in the east central part of the state will send the most teams with 6. The Sunshine League and South Central League will each send 5 teams to the tournament. The Eastern Dakota League will send 4 teams while the Northern Plains League will send 2.
