Plankinton Shuts Down Chamberlain in Pony Hills League Baseball

PLANKINTON, S.D. – Josh Enquist fired a complete game 2 hit shutout as Plankinton downed Chamberlain 7-0 in Pony Hills League Amateur baseball Sunday in Plankinton. Engquist struck out 13 en-route to the victory. Trevor Salmonsen led the way for Plankinton with 3 hits and two RBI’s. Mike Schawartz was the losing pitcher for Chamberlain as he allowed 7 runs on 12 hits over 8 innings of work. Adam Schroeder and Ryan Schoenhard had Chamberlains two hits. Chamberlain falls to 3 and 7 in League play while Plankinton improved to 8-1. Chamberlain will host Kimball White Lake on Thursday.
