Through the end of July, South Dakota Lottery players who buy five Lotto America tickets can get a free $2 Lucky for Life Ticket.
According to the South Dakota Department of Revenue, this promotion only applies to tickets purchased in $5 increments. If $10 worth of Lotto America tickets are purchased during one transaction, the player will receive one free $2 Lucky for Life ticket.
Lucky for Life, which was launched in South Dakota in June 2017, provides players with a unique top prize of $1,000 a day for the rest of their lives. Lucky for Life drawings take place every Monday and Thursday.
Lotto America is also a recent addition to the South Dakota Lottery’s lotto game lineup. The $1 game returned to South Dakota in November (2017). Lotto America drawings take place each Wednesday and Saturday night.
The promotion runs through July 31, 2018.
