Post 8 Splits in Watertown

PIERRE, S.D. – Pierre Post 8 American Legion baseball team split a doubleheader in Watertown on Monday Pierre dropped the opener 7-4 to Fargo Post 2 but came back and downed Watertown 7-4. In the win over Watertown, Garrett Stout had 3 hits and a pair of RBIs to lead Pierre. Maguire Raske and Michael Lusk combined on a 6 hitter on the mound. In the setback to Faro, Pos2 outhit Post 8i 11-7 in the contest. Raske had a 2 run single for Pierre. With the split Pierre is 15-17 on the season as they host Rapid City Post 320 in a single 9 inning game Tuesday night at Hyde Stadium with a 6 pm first pitch.
