Delta Dental has donated $25 thousand to the Helmsley Center Challenge in honor of a Pierre man who has served health care in central South Dakota for almost 30 years.
Jim Russell was on the Delta Dental Board of Directors for 27 years and the CEO of St. Mary’s Healthcare Center for 28 years. A check in his honor was presented yesterday (Wed.).
With the opening of the Helmsley Center this fall, central South Dakota residents will have access to radiation therapy.
