Pierre’s City Hall will move from its current location on Dakota Avenue to the former Eagle Creek building on 4th Street (2301 Patron Parkway) later this month.
City administrator Kristi Honeywell says the new City Hall will open for business July 30.
Honeywell says the new City Hall won’t host its first City Commission meeting until August.
Honeywell says the City wants a little time to test systems before transitioning the Commission meetings to the new location.
The City of Pierre purchased the Eagle Creek building last year. City Hall will occupy the first floor of the building. The second floor continues to house Eagle Creek Software.
