Pierre Duo Wins State Father Son Golf Tournament

MITCHELL, S.D. – Mike and Austin Hoss of Pierre won the South Dakota Golf Association Father-Son State golf tournament that wrapped up yesterday (Sunday) at the Lakeview Golf Course in Mitchell. The Hoss’s fired a round of 72 and finished 1 shot better than 3 other teams. It was the first state title for the father son team. In the 11-and-under division, Rapid City’s Hayden and Nick Heig won with a 79. In the 12-13 division, Rapid City’s Jackson and Mike Swartz won with an 81. In the 14-15 division, Sioux Falls’ Peter and Shannon McCormick won with a 75.
