HURON, S.D. – The Pierre Lady Governor tennis team traveled to Huron on Saturday to compete in a quadrangular meet. The Lady Govs dropped a 8-1 verdict to Brookings with the number 3 doubles team of Marlee Shorter and Gracie Zeeb picking up the lone victory in the match. Watertown shutout the Lady Govs 9-0 and Pierre dropped a close 5-4 decision to Huron in the final match of the day to remain winless in duals on the season. The number 2 doubles team of Kara Weiss and Sydney Tedrow won their match in what Lady Governor head coach Kerry Dilley said was their best performance in a match this year.
