UNDATED – South Dakota State is ranked 3rd once again in the STATS and Coaches FCS College Football Top 25 poll. SDSU opened it’s season on Saturday with a 45-14 win over Montana State and has been rated third in the first two polls of the season. The University of South Dakota is ranked 22nd in the STATS poll and 24th this week in the coaches ratings. North Dakota State continues to claim the top spot in both of the polls. James Madison and SDSU are rated 2nd and third. Sam Houston State and Eastern Washington round out the top 5 in the Coaches poll followed by North Carolina A&T, Wofford, Kennesaw State, Samford and Villanova in numbers 6 through 10. In the STATS poll after SDSU in third it’s North Carolina A&T and Sam Houston State rated 4th and 5th. Eastern Washington is 6th followed by Kennesaw State, Wofford, Samford and Villanova in the top 10.
