Warrants have been issued for a Watertown, S.D. man who was involved in a one-vehicle fatal crash that occurred last week near Sisseton.
Evidence indicates Robert Keoke, Jr., was driving a 1996 Ford Explorer southbound on 460th Avenue when he lost control. The vehicle went off the gravel road into a ditch and eventually rolled.
One passenger, Dennis Brant, 73 of Peever, S.D., was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
A second passenger, 50-year-old David Keeble of Sisseton, received minor injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt.
The crash occurred sometime on the evening of Tuesday, September 4.
Keoke, Jr., 52, left the crash scene and has not yet been located. Anybody who knows the location of Keoke, Jr., is asked to call law enforcement.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
