Tickets are now available for the US Marine Band concert Oct. 15 in Pierre.
T.F. Riggs High School band director Mackenzie Jensen says tickets are free.
Jensen says this concert is part of the 2018 U.S. Marine Band National Tour through the Midwest.
The US Marine Band is America’s oldest continuously active professional musical organization. Founded in 1798, the band has performed for every U.S. President since John Adams. Known as “The President’s Own” since the days of Thomas Jefferson, the Marine Band’s primary mission is to provide music for the President of the United States and the Commandant of the Marine Corps.

Tickets valid until 7:15 p.m.; open seating thereafter. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. No flash photography or video recording allowed. For security purposes, items larger than a purse will not be permitted.
