Three Lower Brule, South Dakota, individuals have been indicted by a federal grand jury for Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance.
According to the US Attorney’s Office, 20-year-old Shanna St. Cloud, 20-year-old Alisha Flute, a/k/a Alisha Pretty Sounding Flute, and 39-year-old Teresa Jandreau have all pled not guilty.
The Indictment alleges that between December 2015, and September 2018, St. Cloud, Flute and Jandreau intentionally conspired with others to possess and distribute methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance, in South Dakota.
The maximum penalty if convicted is up to life in prison, a $10-million fine or a lifetime of supervised release. Restitution may also be ordered.
St. Cloud was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service
pending trial. Jandreau and Flute were released on bond pending trial. A trial
date is set for November 27.
