Lady Governors Fill Up All ESD Soccer Team

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The All ESD Girls Soccer team was named recently by coaches of the ESD Girls Soccer teams and the Pierre Lady Governors placed 5 players on the All Conference team and another girls on the Honorable Mention squad. Named to the All ESD team from Pierre is forward Emily Mikkelson, Janaina Zanin, Abigail Foster and Taryn Senger. Mikkelsen and Foster are seniors while Zanin and Senger are juniors. The fifth player named to the All Conference team is senior goal keeper Mackenzie Rath. Named to the honorable mention team is junior defender Cassidy Miller. The Lady Governors went 7-1-1 in ESD play this season and last weekend won the State Class AA State Championship.
