A California Pacific Airlines plane was damaged while taxiing for departure from the Pierre Regional Airport around 3:30pm last Friday.
Airport manager Mike Isaacs tells DRG news and farm the aircraft wing tip clipped a mini excavator. There were no injuries. He says the plane taxied back to deplane at the terminal and another aircraft came in to resume flights Friday night around 10pm.
