PIERRE, S.D. – The Oahe Capitals got off to a rocky start with a pair of exhibition losses to the Huron All Stars over the Weekend. On Saturday, Huron skated out of the EXPO Center with a 7-3 victory and then downed the Capitals 4-2 on Sunday in Huron. In Saturday night’s contest in Ft. Pierre, Huron scored 3 times each in the second and third period to pull away from the Capitals. Andy Gordon scored a first period goal for the Capitals followed by a second period goal from Kaden Davis and a third period goal from Tallon Griese. On Sunday, Jackson Lake and Gordon scored the two Capital goals in the game. Huron scored 3 goals in the second period to hold on. The Capitals return to the ice next weekend with matchups against Mitchell. Saturday night at the EXPO Center and and Sunday in Mitchell.
