At $2.76, the national gas price average this week is the cheapest it’s been in six months (end of April). The national average is six cents less than a week ago, 15-cents less than a month ago but 24-cents more than a year ago.
The average gas price in South Dakota is $2.79 which is three cents higher than the national average. The state average is down 5 cents from a week ago, 13 cents lower than a month ago but 28 cents higher than at this time last year.
The nation’s least expensive gas is found in Delaware ($2.44), Missouri and South Carolina ($2.46) and Oklahoma ($2.47).
