South Dakota house republicans met over the weekend to choose their leaders for the 2019 legislative session.
District 23 representative Spencer Gosch of Glenham was elected as speaker pro-tem.
Gosch says that although being elected feels good, it’s time to get to work.
The legislature begins the 2019 session on January 8th.
