Trappers Add Another Player to 2019 Roster

PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre Trappers of the Expedition League recently announced another signing for the 2019 season in the Summer Wood Bat Collegiate Baseball League. Alex Gonzales is the latest member of the Trappers. Alex is a junior catcher out of Cal State Bakersfield. Before signing with his current school, he spent two years at Scottsdale Community College where he was teammates with Zane Phelps, Michael Herrera, Niko Piazza, and Sam Kalberer. Alex is also the brother of Seattle Mariners pitcher Marco Gonzales. Gonzales is the second catcher signed by the Trappers for next season.
