On Monday, Nov. 19 and Tuesday, Nov. 20, the main entrance to Avera St. Mary’s Hospital and the Helmsley Center off of Sioux Avenue in Pierre will be closed so crews can repair the parking lot entrance.
The main entrance is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, Nov. 21. The front doors to the Helmsley Center will remain open and accessible by sidewalk.
Though access to the main parking lots for Avera St. Mary’s campus will temporarily be closed, the MAC Lane entrance close to the Avera Medical Group clinic and the South Washington Avenue entrance close to the hospital emergency department will remain open.
