Winter weather is expected to cover much of central and southern South Dakota later tonight (Fri.) through early Sunday morning.
Weatherology meteorologist Paul Trambley says the Pierre/Fort Pierre area is on the northern edge of the area that’s expected to get the largest amounts of snow.
Trambley says the first round of moisture will be a “wintry mix.”
With temperatures tonight and tomorrow hovering near freezing, Trambley says roads could be icy.
