A 38-year-old Vivian, SD, man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison on a manslaughter charged related to the death of an infant in May 2017.
Ten of the 50 years of Gerald Raymond Brink’s sentence were suspended. The charge came out of an incident in Vivian resulting in the death of Brink’s 7-week old daughter Neveah Brink. She presented to medical personnel with intracranial bleeding and four separate, unrelated skull fractures.
