Pierre Swimmers to Compete in Midwest All Star Meet

PIERRE, S.D. – Six Pierre Swim Team athletes were selected to compete as part of the 60 member Team South Dakota for the 2019 Midwestern All-Stars Swim Meet. Amara Dell will compete in the girls 10 & under division in seven events while Katelynn Axtell, Ella Ward Zeller and Michelle Weiss will represent Pierre in the 13-14 age category. Mason Ward Zeller will compete in 7 events in the boys 11-12 division and Aiden Burke will compete for Pierre in the boys 13-14 division. The meet will be in Elkhorn, Nebraska, at the Elkhorn Common Ground facility and will host athletes ages 14 and under from several different states in the region, including North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Nebraska, Minnesota and Iowa.
