The new owners of the Harrold Pulse Plant are holding an informational meeting this week in Pierre.
PURIS wants to introduce the company to local pulse growers, discuss the total production acre contracts that they have available for growers and gauge the interest of local growers in contracting acres of yellow peas.
The meeting will be held Thursday at 1:15pm at the Pierre Regional Extension Center (412 West Missouri Ave.).
