PIERRE, S.D. – Pierre Riggs High School Athletic Director Brian Moser says under the current weather conditions and forecast for today, the Pierre Athletic Department has postponed all competition events for tonight. All competition events scheduled for tomorrow are still on schedule to be played at their scheduled time and location. Moser says all practices are still scheduled to take place at their scheduled time and location for all sports after school today.
Friday
Pierre Lady Governors Basketball at Yankton Postponed. The game will be rescheduled to a later date.
Pierre Governor Wrestling vs. Brandon Valley and Watertown has been Postponed. The matches will be rescheduled to a later date.
Saturday
Lady Governor Gymnastics will still be going to Rapid City to the Rapid City Gym O Rama
The Pierre Governors wrestling team will be hosting the East/West Duals in Pierre and that is still on Schedule
Pierre Middle School Girls Basketball is scheduled to still be going to Watertown Still
Governor Boys Basketball is still going to Harrisburg with the JV and freshman games beginning at noon and the varsity game at 2:30 pm.
