About 500 customers in the northeast part of Pierre lost power for about 45 minutes last night (Mon.) after a vehicle hit and took out a distribution switch.
The area involved was from 4th Street to Northstar Avenue, including the area around Duluth Ave. Crews worked until 3:30 this morning to replace the switch and restore power to the State Health Lab.
