South Dakota’s Highway Patrol will hold a recruiting seminar for women tomorrow (Tues.) evening in Pierre.
State Department of Public Safety public information officer Tony Mangan says the event will be held from 6-8 p.m. CST at the Mickelson Law Enforcement Training Center.
Currently the Highway Patrol has 14 female troopers. Seminars also will be held later this month in Aberdeen, Rapid City, Sioux Falls and Watertown.
Application deadline for the Patrol’s current hiring period is Feb. 28.
