FT. PIERRE, S.D. – Brady Hoftiezer’s 30 points helped lift the Stanley County Buffaloes to a 61-42 victory over Mobridge-Pollock Tuesday night. In a game that was tightly contested for three quarters, the Buffaloes outscored the Tigers 21-6 in the final period to win it going away, with Hoftiezer scoring 14 of his 30 down the stretch. The Tigers struggled through an off night, hitting just three of 22 attempts from behind the 3-point line. Trace Cerney’s 15 points led Mobridge-Pollock, who had a 6-game win streak snapped in falling to 10-7 on the season. Joey Fischer added 12 points for the 8-8 Buffaloes, who will entertain Class B top-ranked White River on Thursday. Mobridge-Pollock heads to Winner on Friday.
