A 21-year-old Lower Brule, SD, woman convicted of Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance has been sentenced in federal court.
Shanna St. Cloud was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison, followed by 5 years of supervised release. She pled guilty in November.
St. Cloud distributed methamphetamine in and around the Crow Creek and Lower Brule Sioux Indian Reservations. She admitted between 500 grams and 1.5 kilograms of methamphetamine was distributed during the course of the conspiracy.
St. Cloud was immediately turned over to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
