BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State’s Skyler Flatten has been selected to participate in the 2019 Dos Equis 3X3U National Championship, scheduled for April 5-7 at Minnesota’s Mall of America. Flatten is one of four players competing on the Summit League’s team. Flatten was a key contributor for South Dakota State all season, averaging 15.5 points per game, burying 84 3-pointers alongside 41 steals, 13 blocks and 73 assists. Flatten joins Omaha’s Zach Jackson, Purdue Fort Wayne’s Kason Harrell and Western Illinois’ Brandon Gilbeck on the Summit League’s 2019 squad. This marks the second year in a row a Jackrabbit has competed in the event, as Reed Tellinghuisen competed in the 2018 event in Dallas.
