PLATTE, S.D. – The Platte-Geddes/Dakota Christian/White Lake/Corsica baseball team scored three runs in the sixth inning and went on to down Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman 6-2 on Monday in Platte. The Cubs were their own worst enemy committing 6 errors in the contest. Miles Hubers and Hudson Ringling both recorded two hits in the win to lead the Honkers and Grayson Hanson had a pair of RBI’s. Ty Namanny, Wyatt Talbott, Remington Rossow and Cam Caldwell all recorded two hits for Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman. Miles Hubers also earned the win for the Honkers as he struck out eight and allowed an earned run in a six-inning start. Cole Hickey was the losing pitcher for Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman as he allowed three runs (one earned) and struck out seven over five innings.
