PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre Lady Governor golf team fired a 357 and finished 4th in the team standings of the ESD Conference Girls Golf Tournament played Thursday in Huron at the Broadland Creek Golf Course. Yankton won the ESD title with a 336 and 7 shot victory over runner up Aberdeen Central. Harrisburg came in third with a 352 team score. Mitchell, Watertown, Brandon Valley, Huron and Brookings rounded out the 9 team field. Peyton Tramp of Yankton was the individual medalist with a round of 77 and 3 stroke victory over runner up Reese Jansa of Harrisburg. Pierre had two girls earn All ESD Golf honors with a top 15 place finish. Hallie Gronlund fired a 83 good for 5th place and Annabelle Simpson had an 87 to finish in a tie for 10th. Ellie Jo Simpson carded a 93. Jessa McTighe had a 94 and Anna Otto a 96. The Lady Govs will play at Brandon on Tuesday in the final regular season tournament before the State tournament in 10 days in Watertown.
