PIERRE, S.D. – The Oahe Power Surge Softball Tournament determined it’s champions on Sunday in Pierre. The Pierre Pride won the championship of the U18 division. The Pierre Price downed the Clearfield Sandburs 13-2 in the title game. Two other Pierre teams got to the championship game before settling for second. Here are the scores from the championship games in each division.

Tournament Coordinator Cally Hall said that there were 38 teams entered in the tournament from South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Montana. Pool play was completed Friday and Saturday for seeding into single elimination brackets on Sunday. The 38 teams was the most ever for the tournament since it began.
