Plankinton All Over Four Corners

HAYES, S.D. – The Plankinton Bankers had it all going on Sunday as they recorded a 15-3 win over Four Corners in Pony Hills League Amatuer Baseball west of Hayes at the Four Corners Field. Trevor Salmonson did the offensive damage for Plankinton as he finished 3-for-5 with five runs batted in and je belted a solo homer. Kyle Bruinsma also smacked a solo home run for the Bankers. Justin Allen finished with two of the five hits for Four Corners. Andrew McCloud added a solo home run. Josh Engquist earned the pitching win for Plankinton. He allowed five hits and three earned over seven innings while striking out 12. Jeremy Hand took the loss for Four Corners as he gave up 13 hits, 13 runs (five earned) while striking out three batters over six innings.
