Oahe Hockey Association to Add New Girls Program

PIERRE, S.D. – An exciting new program for girls hockey players in Pierre and Ft. Pierre has been added to the Oahe Hockey Association. The Girls U14 program is a league level program that focuses on fundamentals and learning the game while playing against the same age and skilled Girls. OHA officials say that this program has had great success in other associations, and they are hoping it grows the Girls program here with OHA. There will be an ALL GIRLS meeting to discuss what this new program means for your daughter; this includes the youngest all the way to the oldest skater on Monday evening at 7 pm at the EXPO Center in Ft. Pierre.  All current Lady Capitals and any girls who are interested in playing hockey should attend the meeting.
