SDSU Social Draws Large Crowd

PIERRE, S.D. – Around 150 friends and alumni of South Dakota State University turned out Wednesday for the annual SDSU social held at Drifters in Ft. Pierre. University President Barry Dunn spoke the people in attendance as did SDSU Athletic Director Justin Sell, first year head men’s basketball coach Eric Henderson and Head Football Coach John Stiglemeier. Both coaches Henderson and Stiglemier talked about their upcoming seasons and what tremendous athltes they have in their particular programs. Sell talked about the history of success that SDSU athletics has had in his 11 years and looked ahead to the future as nothing but bright. This was the 27th consecutive year that SDSU has come to Pierre in the middle part of July.
