PIERRE, S.D. – The Spearfish Sasquatch continues to bring out the best in Pierre Trappers pitching. Seth Brewer, Nate Morris and AJ Sheetz combined on a 4 hitter Thursday night as the Trappers beat up on the Sasquatch 13-2 in Expedition Baseball at Hyde Stadium. The win was the third straight for the Trappers and kept them 1/2 game behind the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs in the Lewis Division second half pennant race. Ken Scott hit his first home run of the season for the Trappers and 5 batters had 2 hits apiece as Pierre put together a 9 hit attack. The Trappers are 2 games over the .500 mark at 27-25 while the Sasquatch fell to 3 games under .500 at 24-27. The two teams play again tonight at Hyde Stadium with a 7:05 pm first pitch.
