SDSU Adds New Sports Staff Hires

BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State University Athletics has filled three positions in support of its 19-sport varsity athletics program. The recent hires include: Ryan Christy as associate director of development; Cody Englund, assistant director of ticket sales and operations, and Maggan Froseth, director of marketing. Christy will work with all aspects of athletics development, including annual fund planning and execution, Letterwinners Club oversight and a variety of other fundraising initiatives. He previously served as a development assistant with the Huskers Athletic Fund at the University of Nebraska. Englund previously worked in ticket sales and as a fan relations representative at the University of Minnesota while completing his master’s degree in sports management. And Froseth served as the Jackrabbits’ director of marketing on an interim basis during the 2018-19 athletics season, after previously serving stints as box office manager in the Jackrabbit Ticket Office and as an event specialist intern for athletics development.
