WATERTOWN, S.D. – Former Pierre Governor Girls State Champion Golfer Katie Bartlett teamed with Julia Hall to win the South Dakota Two Woman State golf championship over the weekend at the Cattail Crossing Country Club in Watertown. Bartlett and Hall, both from Pierre, fired a two round total 143 and tied with Carley McMacken and Kelley Evans-Hillinger of Brookings after 36 holes. But Bartlett and Hall won a playoff to claim the top trophy. Sydney Bormann and Sydney Webber of Parkston were third one shot back. Bartlett and Hall fird an opening round 70 and secod round 73 to claim the championship.

WATERTOWN, S.D. – The senior division of the State Woman Two Man Championship tournament was won by Collette Quam of Sioux Falls and Jeri King of Aberdeen on Sunday at the Cattail Crossing Country Club in Watertown. Quam and King fired a two round total 160 with an opening round 78 followed by a second round 82 score. The 160 total was good enough to claim the victory by 5 strokes over Jeri Krsnak and Pam Holland of Sioux Falls. The Pierre team of Heidi Rusch and Nancy Berg finished third with a 166. There were a total of 22 two woman teams competing at the tournament. Another team from Pierre Barb Haberling and Kristie Hepper fired a two round total 184 to tie for 15th.
