BROOKINGS, S.D. – Former Pierre Lady Governor State Champion golfer Katie Bartlett added a State Women’s Amateur title to her list on Sunday as she led from start to finish to win the 57th annual State Women’s Amateur Golf Championship Sunday at the Brookings Country Club in Brookings. Bartlett, a junior golfer at the University of South Dakota and former state high school champion and two time runner up carded a final round 77 for a three round total 229 and two stroke victory over South Dakota State assistant coach and Sioux Falls native Maggie Murphy. Murphy closed with the bet round of the day with a 72. Lani Potter of Aberdeen was third with a 232 three round score.
