This week, the Dakota Radio Group gave Countryside St. Benedict’s Guest House a check for over $4,000 raised through our “Clip Cancer’s Grass” promotion. To help raise the funds, DRG and our sponsors teamed up to give away a pink Bush Hog mower last month (Aug. 20). Sandy Garrett of Pierre had the winning code and took home the mower!
Patients getting cancer treatment at the Helmsley Center in Pierre are able to stay at the facility free of charge. To stay at Countryside St. Benedict’s Guest House, patients must get a referral from social services at the hospital.
Thank you to our listeners and Clip Cancer’s Grass business sponsors!
