Governor Volleyball Wins in Yankton

PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre Governor Volleyball team evened their season record at 4-4 with a 3-1 win over the Yankton Gazelles in Yankton on Tuesday. The Governors got off to a slow start dropping the first game again but battled back and swept the next 3 winning by set scores of 15-25, 25-14, 25-18, 25-20. The Governors also won all of the preliminary matches played as well. Pierre returns to action tomorrow night when they end a 5 road trip with a home game against Harrisburg at Riggs High Gym.
