Gov Volleyball Breaks Through Against Brandon Valley

PIERRE, S.D. – It was a breakthough night for the Pierre Governor Volleyball team as the squad won the close matches and defeated Brandon Valley 3-1 in ESD volleyball at Riggs High Gym. The Governors won by scores of 25-19, 26-28, 25-22, 26-24 to send Pierre to it’s 6th win of the season against 6 setbacks. Addy Smith and Regan Wiebe led the way with 12 kills apeice and Emry Heiss added 10 to lead the Governor offensive output. Heiss also had 6 blocks to lead the team Kenzie Kuxhaus had 26 digs and Mia Kienholz had 45 set assists. Avery Timmons led Brandon Valley with 10 kills while Ella Simpson had 30 digs and Avery Myers had 16 assists.
