MINOT, N.D. – South Dakota Cowboys did well this year as the Badlands Circuit Rodeo competition wrapped up with the Badlands Circuit Finals Rodeo in Minot, North Dakota over the weekend. Eli Lord of Sturgis was the All Around champion in the Badlands Circut for 2019 and Jamie Howlett of Rapid City was the Barebacl Riding Champion. Lord took the championship in Steer Wrestling. Jon Peterson of Belle Fourche was the year end Team Roping Header champion while J.J. Elshere of Hereford, S.D. was the Badlands Circuit Saddle Bronc Riding Champion. Jessica Routier of Buffalo was the top Barrell Racer on the year and Trey Young of Dupree was the Tie Down Roping Champion. Jeff Bertus of Avon was the top Bull Rider on the circuit of the year.
