The City of Pierre is looking for volunteers to serve on one of three community advisory boards.
Mayor Steve Harding says serving on an advisory board is a chance for community members to have a direct voice in matters that are important to them.
The three community advisory boards with openings or soon to have openings are the Arbor Board, the Library Board and the Park and Recreation Board.
Advisory boards meet monthly and provide Pierre city officials with ideas and recommendations regarding planning, development and policy changes.
