PIERRE, S.D. – The winter storm in central South Dakota moves into day 3 and central South Dakota Athletic Events have been postponed. Stanley County Athletic Director Kelcy Nash and Jones County Athletic Director Lenae Tucker both tell DRG Sports that the scheduled girls and boys basketball doubleheader scheduled between Stanley County and Jones County for later today and this evening in Murdo have been cancelled. I-90 is still closed in the central part of the state for today. The doubleheader has been rescheduled to tomorrow afternoon with the JV games beginning at 1 pm and the first varsity game scheduled to begin around 3:15 pm with the other varsity contest to follow. Both of those games will be covered on KGFX 1060/107.1 and www.drgnews.com with the pregame beginning around 3 pm.
