WINNER, S.D. – The Winner Warriors stunned 3rd ranked Crow Creek on Monday night pulling out a 91-84 victory over the Chieftans in Winnner. The game was tight throughout with the scored tied at 74 at the end of regulation. The Warriors outscored the Chieftans 17-10 in the extra stanza to hand Crow Creek their second loss of the season. Brady Fitz erupted for 35 points to lead 3 players in double figures for Winner. Joren Bruun had 24 on the strength of 7 3-pointers and Philip Jorgenson with 10 also hit double figures for the Warriors who also had 2 other players with 9 points each. Crow Creek was led by Luke Wells and Taron Sazue who each poured in 31 points while Shane Sazue added 11. Winner will wrap up the season Thursday hosting Stanley County. Crow Creek wrapped up their regular season and will await the Region 6A tournament next week.
