Gov. Kristi Noem said South Dakota’s state budget will have enough room raise pay for teachers, Medicaid providers and state employees.
Noem and legislative leaders announced a budget deal yesterday (Mon.) that would lead to 2% increases for schools, state workers and Medicaid providers.
At last night’s (Mon.) Pierre School Board meeting, Supt. Dr. Kelly Glodt said the news of a likely raise was a pleasant surprise.
